After a few months, I'm surprised and happy! This was so easy. So weird. It just worked. I'm reinstalling the app to try the method on another addiction I have. :)
I think this is THE approach to quitting. All those people who keep saying "Just do it, just quit!", really have no idea what they are talking about. Here, I have found a gentle method that focuses on the process itself. I know a lot of people have tried to quit for good countless times and don't want to get their hopes up. But I'd say always get back up, it's worth it.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How quickly will I stop smoking?
We recommend three weeks or 21 days to slowly cut down the number of cigarettes you smoke until you get to zero. If you feel you're ready to quit earlier, then great! Once you've quit, you can always use our program to help you stay quit!
2. I've tried to quit before and it didn't work. Why is this different?
When people came to us for this training in-person, they had tried to quit on average 6 times before. Yes, 6 times! This training is different because it helps people work with and dismantle the addictive loop that is set up each time we smoke. And we have the scientific data to back it up.
"I'm 10 days without a cigarette after finishing this 21 day program. It works!"
Thank you! I smoked for forty two years! The training is top notch. Mindful smoking saved my life!!!!! I quit!!!
Fantastic app helped me quit without any nicotine replacement aids!
I used to smoke about an average of 45 cigarettes a day. Since I started it instantly cut my smoking in half. Today is my eighth day and since I started I haven’t smoked over 25 cigarettes in one day. Now you may notice the monthly cost [...] and say “That is outrageous!”. I urge you to give it a try. I have been on the program for only 8 days out of 21, and I have saved almost $30.00 from buying less cigarettes. It is also cheaper than the patch, gum, or lozenges. This is a remarkable app, and this should be followed in every Stop Smoking clinic in the world.

Craving to Quit is based on a smoking cessation program developed and tested by Judson Brewer MD/PhD at Yale University. A clinical trial of this program delivered as a group-based in-person training over 4 weeks was twice as effective when compared head-to-head to the leading quit smoking therapy, "Freedom from Smoking" after 4 weeks.
Dr. Jud Brewer — of MIT, Yale, and the Mindfulness Center at Brown University — spent decades studying habits and how they form — and how the human brain is wired to do things repeatedly to the point of addiction, even if it hurts us.
He discovered a new way to overcome addictions that works — even if you've tried to quit multiple times before.
This new approach — outlined in the 4th most watched TED Talk of the Year and now available through the Craving to Quit app — doesn't require brute force or "going cold turkey".
